    This is an excellent product. It has worked for me the first time i set it up. There is no need to install any software prior to its use. What i like most is that bt provides most upto date firmware software to ensure that the product has the most secure settings for networking.

After two frustrating days of trying to get the computer and router to talk to each other and being unable to open a web page, eventually contacting bt revealed that the router has issues with tiger that means you have to manually enter dns addresses to get them to communicate and then download a fix from the bt site before everything works as it should. Once this is done all is well, but you would never realise until driven to contact the manuafacturer. So – unless you are reasonably tech-savvy, proceed with caution if you are a tiger user.
