    Belkin gigabit 5-port network switch. Great quality & reliability from the one i bought 3 years ago, which is like the photo on this site. Never had any issues, various win/mac laptops/desktops work fine with it, as did a logitech squeezebox. I used it to connect a few things in a remote, cat5e wired room. Just bought a new one, same model number, but quite different appearance, and appears more plastic casing this time. However, it again worked instantly out of the box, linking laptop, bluray player & wii in a different room. If only wireless extenders were as reliableupdate 28th jan 2011:bought another one to extend wired network to a couple of macs & printer in another room. Just run a cat6 cable from the “upstream” switch into this new switch, then 3 cables from new switch to the 3 devices. Power up & gigabit speed connection is instant.
