Review and Buying Guide of D-Link DES-105/B 5 Port 10/100 Metal Housing Desktop Switch

Uncomplicated, sturdy and sturdy – just will get on with the task. Sits behind my television set to offer community connectivity from my virgin media router to the two my sky and tivo bins, my blu-ray player, and the tv set itself.

I have been working with just one of these for around a thirty day period now (it is not the a single in the graphic exhibit but an older model) and i have no problems. It sits in my review together with my personal computer, nas, and rasperbury pi and lets me to connect among them immediately and successfully. There is no lag time when streaming high definition flicks from the nas and it will need to set-up or configuration.

Discrete, rough and reliable.

Comments from buyers

“Exellent switch – has a great “quality feel” to it, simple, strong and robust, Simple and Effective”

Very good merchandise has been used a whole lot.

Great device, what i wanted for my desk place as i can have 5 ethernet ports (i desired 4), also rapid delivery :).

Exellent switch – has a good ‘quality feel’ to it. I have only not long ago bought this so are not able to comment on the lengthy time period dependability. But it is pretty solidly built and has a wonderful ‘quality feel’ to it. Most usefully, it came with two small screws for mounting (using a couple of ‘key holes’ in the base of the device) which i have applied to mount it on a wall in a cabinet which keeps it neatly out of the way. (in advance of purchasing i in comparison with related products and solutions from other effectively recognized suppliers and this experienced more characteristics and a little reduced electricity-use – at a aggressive rate.

Exellent switch – has a great “quality feel” to it. I have only recently bought this so can’t comment on the long term reliability. But it is very solidly built and has a great “quality feel” to it. Most usefully, it came with two small screws for mounting (using a couple of “key holes” in the base of the unit) which i have used to mount it on a wall in a cupboard which keeps it neatly out of the way. (before buying i compared with similar products from other well known suppliers and this had more features and slightly lower power-consumption – at a competitive price.

I have been using one of these for around a month now (it is not the one in the image show but an older model) and i have no complaints. It sits in my study along with my pc, nas, and rasperbury pi and allows me to communicate between them quickly and efficiently. There is no lag time when streaming hd movies from the nas and it need to set-up or configuration.
