    Good poe+ switch for small sites that have limited poe requirements. . A good basic switch which will be suitable for most home uses that need to power a poe+ device. If you need to power more than one device then read on. The total poe power for this switch is limited to 31 watts which potentially will allow only two 802. 3at (poe+) device to be powered at any one time. 3af devices may not draw the full 15. 4 watts* so you could power more than two as long as the total poe for the switch does not exceed 31 watts (my cisco phone only draws about 6 watts so i could power four of them with this switch with the available four poe ports. However my cisco wifi ap draws just under 13 watts so could only power two of them. Similar restrictions apply for 802. 3at devices which can potentially draw up to 30 watts* each. People that need more power will need to look elsewhere. This is not a criticism of this switch – it is doing what it says on the box and it does it very well.
